How Does EasyEats make its calculations and reccomendations?

Well, how does it make its decisions? As soon as you swipe on a food item, as soon as that next food item appears EasyEats searches its database first and foremost for foods that will fit within your calorie deficit. What that means is, that EasyEats will recommend only foods that fit within your daily recommended intakes. The reason we prioritize calories over other macros is because it’s the most common form of dieting related to weight. From there it checks if you have all the ingredients to make the foods, and finally, if you have the cookware to actually make it! EasyEats prioritizes keeping you in a calorie deficit since it’s the best diet that can be automatically managed, however, we have big plans soon. In the very near future, EasyEats will also be able to change how it prioritizes macros, so if you're doing the lose weight diet it will still prioritize calorie deficit, but if you do something like maintain weight it will try and balance all the levels, or if you choose gain muscle it will prioritize getting more protein!

So then how do we make our diet alerts and fill our macro bars? We use scientifically backed nutritionist-recommended equations for counting your calories and finding out your daily calorie deficit, Ree, TDEE, and all the values for your daily recommended intakes for protein, fat, and carbs! Then to get your amount eaten values, we just total up all the foods you’ve eaten through the app! EasyEats already knows the macro values in all the foods, so no need to count yourself. Then to get your percentages we just do basic math taking your deficit amount divided by your amount eaten, and then they get us your percent!

From there we use your percents as we described in This page. In additional we also calculate all the other macro values the same from there! For the more complex macros, we used the most well-trusted sources for all our macros, always making sure to verify with others as well. We understand that everyone is different as well, and there are always exceptions to these values, so use this app always as a recommendation, not as perfect for you and is 100% factual. If you have a nutritionist guiding you or a doctor, PLEASE USE THEIR WORD OVER OURS, we are not a substitute for doctors.

Those are some of the current methods used for dietary recommendations! However please keep in mind that EasyEats is NOT a doctor and should not be a substitute for one, if you have health concerns about your diet then PLEASE see a doctor and follow their regime. We treat all our users like a family and want to make sure you are safe when eating above all else, so follow their advice over ours, however, we are working on technologies to try and help implement their advice directly into EasyEats! You can expect to see new AI features and accessibility features coming very soon! If you're a professional and want to provide feedback or you just want to provide feedback, please see our support page and submit a feedback ticke, we are a small team and try to resolve every ticket. It’s also our commitment to always be open to change and feedback, no matter how harsh. Everyone’s feedback is ALWAYS APPRECIATED!

As of Version 1, there is only basic meal reccomendations, based on your calories remaining and other factors like your diet type, and whether you might have a chance of being interested in a certain kind of food. However if these fail they fall back to default values. More features for EasyEats are coming in the very near future, such as EasyEats to only reccomend foods you have the ingredients to make, or just the cookware, or foods related to those to give you the best personalized meal choices.
