As you may have noticed EasyEats takes a unique approach to dieting advice, from the way the UI is designed to how it reccomends items its not traditional, and thats the most apparent in the Macro Alerts.
Where some apps feature hard stops from eating foods you'd like, or just giving a simple notification or not even giving you a notice at all to your daily macronutrient progress, EasyEats takes a people first approach. We know you dont want to stop eating foods youd like, but we believe you should always be in the know of your diet progress throughout the day. What we did is designed the Macro Dashboard in a way to present you with updates on your diet throughout the day, or Alerts. These Alerts are based on nothing but your current macro progress and taking that percent of the max macro's amount, and getting the percent for it. Its the same percent that the Level Bars use. The Alerts are on fixed amounts, and will trigger when the users percents go above the following:
Macro Alerts are nothing more than insights into your diet and how your doing throughout the day. This information is yours to do with as you please, we use them to help determine if we should stop eating some foods or skip on another, or maybe avoid salty food more for the day. EasyEats will do nothing based off these alerts, rather through other pieces of data gathered.
We use these values to determine when to present users with their respective Macro Alerts so it can give them a better insight into their diet progress. We DON'T use macro alerts in determining what the user should eat or when they should stop, these are mere Suggestions from EasyEats, helpful reminders that your getting close to your calorie deficit or if your greatly over your diet deficit's for the day. These values are again reccomendations, and should not be treated as strict diet advice throughout the day.
EasyEats is not a doctor or dietary coach, its a tool used to help better yourself at you own volition.
