Choosing your Diet Type is alot easier than it sounds! The diet type you select is based off your personal goals, and what you want to achieve. These diet types are created from the development team behind EasyEats to try and help everyone find their own desired goals. EasyEats uses these different Diet Types in multiple places throughout the app, including calculating your macro deficit's, Macro Alerts, and your meal reccomendations!
To pick the perfect Diet Type to fit your needs, read the description on each diet type, and based off the small description pick the one that best suits the goals your trying to achieve or the lifestyle your looking for.
EasyEats does not treat these as strict goals however, there are some times EasyEats might not be able to come up with the perfect food reccomendation based off all your parameters, what we have done is created `silent fallbacks`, basically EasyEats will slowly stop being stricter and stricter with its food reccomendation if it truly cant find anything to fit within the users data, you may start to notice foods that are not perfectly aligned with your diet type goals, and thats by design! The idea is to get you to try and experiment more with foods and gauge your response on different foods.
This solution we feel is more human to how people actually want to eat, sure this app has tons of information on how it could go out and search for the most unique food to fit you, but we decided that would be to unrealistic, and would get in the way of what the true goal of easyeats is, to get you to eat healthy and try new things without any thought.
