EasyEats uses industry standard and peer reviewed calculations for how people determine their own values for counting macros. We use the formulas used to calculate a users REE(Resting Energy Expenditure), then calculate their TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). Our calculations are 1:1 with the standard formula. From those values we also a calculate all the users daily reccomended protein intake, fat intake, and carb intake. We specifically used calculations for the core macros from Here.
EasyEats uses the provided data from the user that was given during account creation to determine all the values to fill the formulas.
We also calculate alot of the complex macro values, we use a variety of sources for each of the calculation amounts, but all sources are schollarly and provided by trustworthy medicle sources. Though we must iterate and say EasyEats is NOT A DOCTOR, none of the values you see should be taken as direct facts and logic, as everything can change with science or understanding, and we are always trying to keep up to date with the latest dietary findings. We keep up to date with leading nutritional advice, but we are NOT a doctor/health app, we help you with reccomendations for eating healthy, but to use the reccomendations is your Choice.
All of our data sources are from trustworthy and credible scientific sources and sources for health information. Heres links to some of the values and sources we used to make our calculations.
